Pictures Around the House

Here are a few pictures that we've taken over the last month or so. Emory is such a little scavenger! The pictures of her on the deck were taken one night while Bailey was over visiting. Addie and Bailey had cupcakes for dessert, and I guess Miss Emory was jealous. After Addie ate the icing off her cupcake (which is usually the only part she eats) Emory came over and stole the bottom half. Before Malinda and I realized what she was doing, she had half the cupcake stuffed in her mouth. She obviously is the opposite of her picky sister who refuses to eat anything! As you can see from her picture at the table, no one is going to force Addie to eat something that she doesn't want too. I said I would never make my children eat things if they didn't like them or make them sit at the table until they tried something. My frustrating attempt to get Addie to try a green bean proved that even if I thought I could wait her out, I was badly mistaken.

Halloween

I forgot to put some pictures on the Blog from Halloween. Addie loved being Snow White, however she didn't feel like having her picture taken so most of these are action shots of the trick or treating. I was going to dress Emory up as a Dwarf (either Sleepy or Grumpy) but I was a slacker and ran out of time, so she is just a cute little stoller rider. We had a lot of fun walking around Uncle T and Aunt Tina's neighborhood with Hannah, GaGa and PaPa (and mommy got a lot of good candy)!

The North Fla Fair comes to Town

Here are some pictures from the Fair a few weeks ago. Addie got on a lot more rides than we thought she would. Her favorite was the Carousel and the big inflatable slide. The video caught the tail end of her battling to make it up to the top of the slide. It was pretty funny (very determined that one is)! There are also some pictures from Bradley's Family Fun Day. Addie had a big time riding the horses. Thankfully she has only asked for a rocking horse for Christmas and not the real thing.

Future "Soccer Girl"

We signed Addie up for soccer a few weekends ago and she's been having tons of fun following in her Daddy's footsteps. Every Saturday morning for the next few weeks we'll be out at the field watching her learn all the basics of being a great Soccer Superstar. Seems she's enjoying all the kicking and running, however she's not sure about the other kids kicking her pink ball! Hard to explain to a 3 year old that's kind of the point behind soccer. One of the things they do at the end of the session is pick up the cones, hence the orange pointy thing she is putting on her head. Hopefully we can get some short video clips to add soon.

The Pumpkin Patch 2008

We went to pick out our pumpkin this year with Uncle T, Aunt Tina, Hannah, PaPa and GaGa. The girls had so much fun weaving through the pumpkins and riding in the wagon. Emory was the only one that would cooperate for pictures, so most of these are action shots!

Emory's Walking!!!

Well, she has finally started walking around by herself! For the longest time she's enjoyed standing up and then sitting right back down. BUT NOW...she's actually standing up walking alittle and then sitting back down. Pretty soon she'll be running after her big sister (Lord help us!) Here's some video of her little Frankenstein walk!

Emory's Birthday and Baptism weekend

Here are some pictures from Emory's 1st birthday and her Baptism @ KUMC. We had a great weekend with Ben's parents, and the Adlers! We spent Saturday watching football, smoking some ribs, and having fun in the pool (I don't think Addie was having as much fun in the pool as Max!) Sunday we went to church and then had Emory's party @ Maclay Gardens. The big kids had a good time swimming around and Emory had fun sticking cake up her nose! Can't believe she is already a year old!!!
